Back on track with new sponsors

The road to recovery is long and not easy, but I'm getting there! And I'm very, very happy with my new sponsors Brunotti and Gaastra that are supporting me with kitegear and clothing. Great teams with great people and of course awesome gear! I'm sure I will perform at my best with them.

But this won't be within two days, because when the plaster came off I realised I had to work hard to get back. My strong muscles were gone, my ankle was very swollen and I have a 10 cm scar from the operation. I was a little in shock, but with the help of my physiotherapists Gerard and Pieter, a perfect McDavid sportbrace sponsored by the sportbraceshap and the support of my family and friends I'm sure I'll be kitesurfing soon again.
