Je kan wel zien dat er heel wat camera's langs de kant hebben gestaan....ook Fat Sand heeft een movietje van de best trick comp. gemaakt.....gaan we dan nu de downloops zien?!?
Notably missing from the final was Mark Shinn, who landed a 313 (Railey to handle pass) and grabbed the wrong side off the bar out of the handle pass looping the kite and some how he landed it. Looked great, got a whoop from the beach, just a shame none of the judges seemed to notice!! Anyway the final was a constant barrage of extreme kiting. The new trick seems to be to loop the kite before launch from the water and as it powers up from the water, throw into an S-Bend, Alvaro was pulling these nicely and throwing in some strange combinations. I’d never really seen Etienne Ltoe sail before, but he was a stand out with some powered kgb’s getting really inverted. Martin Vari was trying some really technical tricks and he landed something really well, but god knows if I can really say what : -) It involved a kiteloop, riding blind, an s-bend and a handle pass - pretty impressive!! Aaron Hadlow was pushing himself once again. He’s got some new trick where he passes the bar between his legs(!) and the one that looks really impressive, and he so nearly landed, was the unhooked kiteloop, with a handle pass as the kite is in the middle of the loop – has to be seen to be truly appreciated! And though the result is yet to come in Gianna Argno may have just taken it with a rather stylist unhooked backloop tailgrab, and then just as he’s fully inverted and twisted, he throws in the handle pass, landing smoothly. Very nice indeed. These pro’s really do exist at a level that deserves vast appreciation!!
