The International Kiteboard Federation and FKI (Federazione Kiteboard Italiana) have entered into an agreement to work together for Kiteboarding and the progression of the sport.
The IKF will work closely with the FKI.
Paolo Silvestri, the president of the FKI and will be President of Honour of the IKF. He has worked for the last 10 years to develop the sport in Italy and has organized many Italian championships.

I am very excited to play a big role for Kiteboarding and to affiliate FKI with the new International Kiteboard Federation.†It is now time to build on this development and we invite all national associations to affiliate themselves with the IKF to further the sport as a unit.
