From the article it sounds like they are trying to develop a more comfortable ride for long distance all day kiting. I"d rather tool on a KiteKat versus that tippy board! The only bonus I could see over a KiteKat would be that you wouldn"t need legs to steer it as you could lean into turns. Pretty cool that people are continually trying new things though.
