The Mystic Warrior Waist Harness has gained a well deserved reputation as the best kitesurf harness available. Although more expensive than others, the price includes a spreader bar, spreader bar pad, handlepass safety system and an emergency knife.
Developed to cope with the demands of modern kite surfing, the Mystic Warrior Harness is the most advanced waist harness available, offering unparalleled comfort and load distribution, combined with flexibility for ultimate freedom of movement.
The improved 2007 Mystic Warrior Harness features a great new look, a modified quick release closure for easy entry/exit and a seamless lower edge for increased comfort.
Features and benefits...
- NEW Quick Release Closure - An easy and fast entry and exit from the harness.
- NEW Double Edge - Prevents rash when the harness is worn directly next to the skin. No seams against your skin!
- Kinetic Back Support KM3 - Exclusive to the Warrior harness, the Back Support System uses a specially shaped thermo moulded and neoprene back to allow the harness to adapt continually to changes in body position.
- Kinetic Back Support - Designed to maximise rider comfort and ensure continuous support during riding, the kinetic system distributes the correct density of foam around the contours of the human body.
- H-Flex Force Frame - 2 vertical fibreglass battens ensure the harness maintains shape and even load distribution during riding. A single horizontal batten keeps the backside of the harness stiff when the handlepass leash is loaded. The frame is formed from a thicker but more flexible plastic plate and, combined with the battens, provides freedom of movement, comfort and ideal load distribution.
- Battle Belt Waist Closure - Secured on the frame inside the harness, the stretchy velcro belt ensures a continuous snug fit can be maintained irrespective of the altering dynamics of the body. The velcro is positioned to avoid damage to wetsuits, lycra or skin.
- Spreader Down System - Combined with a spreader bar pad (included), the spreader down system locks the spreader bar in place, reducing the likelihood of chest injury and enabling more control during freestyle manoeuvres.
- Flex Edge - The sides of the harness are more flexible on key load distribution points. As a result the harness gives more freedom of movement and significantly reduces the likelihood of painful ribs.
- Handle Pass Safety System - For advanced riders the Warrior is supplied as standard with an elasticated dyneema handle pass cord running around the back of the harness. The system comes complete with a safety quick release mechanism, located by the spreader bar for easy operation.
- Grip Print - PU printing on the inside of the harness to create extra friction to keep the harness in the right position.
- Safety Knife - Located in a neat pocket by the spreader bar, the Mystic knife will cut through kite lines in an emergency situation. The unique shape allows a firm grip even when wearing gloves.
