For all those newbies out there who want to get the "feel" of an inflatable kite without actually buying one, Naish have brought out the Xeon.

The kite is a ram air foil, that has been designed to mimic the handling characteristics of an inflatable. The Xeon comes in two sizes: 2m = £139 and the 1.3m = £99. The kite comes with a superb X3 style bar, line set and bag. As you can see from the photo's the kites graphics look really nice and the quality is awesome, the 2m even has velcrow bridle pockets for easy rigging. The kite is not just for newbies, we haven't tried it yet, but i'm sure it would be good on a skateboard, or for bored girlfriends/wifes on the beach or for the Hayling crowd who are currently competing as to who can do the first handle pass, this is a great training tool... I'm sure the Hill Head boys are already doing them... c'mon boys

We have "road tested" the kite as there wasn't much wind yesterday and it did pull nicely... I've never felt the steering go so light....
