In a move to push the limits of women"s kiteboarding, BEST KITEBOARDING is proud to announce the recent addition of Bri Chmel to their team of internationally renowned riders.
Attracted by Best"s innovative “think out of the box†approach to the industry, and the strong family atmosphere within the company, Bri, who currently resides in Oregon, plans on relocating to Florida in the fall to represent Best Kiteboarding to the fullest of her abilities and train with Shannon and the team at home.
This exciting relationship between Best and Bri is bound to raise Bri’s already high standard of riding to the next stage with Bri’s natural ability to ride unhooked, wakeskates and sliders with ease and Best"s ongoing commitment to progressing the sport as a whole.
One of the top female riders in the world, Bri has earned respect on and off the water through her explosive riding style and gregarious personality. Bri’s fearless approach to riding can be seen immediately with her ability to perform the latest technical maneuvers and her willingness to push the level of woman’s kiteboarding every time she rides.
Bri recently earned the distinction of becoming the first female kiteboarder in history to earn a cover shot on a kiteboarding magazine performing a trick (an unhooked indy grab back roll). Check out the April 2005 issue at www.kbmag.com.
