SPANISH RIDERS LAY DOWN THE GAUNTLET AT THE BODY GLOVE EUROPEAN KITESURFING CHAMPIONSHIP 2003 IN TARIFA, SPAIN.
Spanish riders today laid down the gauntlet to the rest of the European nations at the Body Glove European Kitesurfing Championship 2003 by electing to pursue a high-risk strategy at the event draw.
The move saw Spanish riders Jose Luengo, Gianni Aragno and Jose Sanchez all elect to contest their first heats against three of the top four ranked seeds: 14 year-old Aaron Hadlow (UK), Jeremie Eloy (France) and Stef de Jong (Holland).
