On the second day of the Corona Extra Kite European Championship in Duinbergen, the North Sea Open, there was again a lot of corona but unfortunately no kite. The wind didn’t pick up as expected. It was just good enough for Aaron Hadlow and others to take/play the show on the beach and practice a few acrobatic moves with the kite. Showtime! The nice waves inspired a few to hit the water for a relaxed surf session. Yves Depoorter (BE) even tried a little wave riding with his long board and 17 meter kite. To keep the competition spirit alive the participants amused themselves with a football match and beach volley. No wind, a few nice waves and sunshine made it a very chilled out afternoon. The average wind of 6 knots during the day has completely dropped in the evening, but the party mood is rising…
Everybody is getting warmed up for the ‘Indian Night’ with plenty of Mexican beer!

morgen ook nix voospelt dus wordt een rampzalig Noth Sea Open. Jammer, vorig jaar was brilliant
