For the 9th successive year, Surfrider Foundation Europe is organising its Europe-wide beach cleaning operation, Ocean Initiative, this year running form 19 - 21 March.
The association mobilises everyone it can, surfers, other water users, sea lovers, to try to get their voices heard. There’s one simple goal, meet up on the coast and let everyone get going to clean up, educate and create awareness of the need to protect our coastlines and oceans.
And worth noting that this year the event is busting out of Europe, with similar clean-ups going on in Africa and South America. So, surfers, kitesurfers, windsurfers and anyone else, to arms
