One Pump - Why It works at just 8 PSI

It's tough to find something wrong with One Pump, Slingshot's new integrated single-valve inflation system. What could be easier than using only 1 valve, without pinching, clinching, or cussing? What could be as satisfying as making your friends launch you first, allowing you to snicker at them from the water, all while they fumble with self-launching?

One Pump is a very simple concept. The strut bladders are connected to the leading edge via rubber cozies. You pump up the kite to 8 PSI using the main LE valve. If you have to replace a bladder, you do so just as you would before. That's it. However, the skeptics out there have tried to complicate matters. We hear it now..." 8 PSI? How can that be? It needs to be rock hard 12 PSI, like all other kites. They must be smoking crack at that Slingshot place. That's crazy."
