The trial rounds of the Red Bull King of the Air event commenced Monday at Kanaha Beach.

"The wind this Tuesday was not as strong as Monday, but was still blowing hard in the 20 to 25 knot range, making it an exciting ending to the trial rounds.
The field of 55 men was whittled down to 28, while the field of 18 women was cut to a highly contested 4 slots. Both groups have now passed through the deciding threshold and have proven themselves worthy for the main event beginning this Thursday, October 9th at Ho'okipa Beach.
