 After being home at the KBO (kiteboardopen) for about 3 days i flew out to Italy for the PKRA stop!KBO was insane btw. I had so much fun, all mellow people hanging out and the beach party was sick! Thanks for the good vibes everyone... Anyways, I arrived in Italy yesterday with Aaron, Youri, Kevin and Lewis...Today the skippersmeeting was at 7.30 which is pretty early for me...haha...I felt really sick and ill as well, airconditioning killed me last night as well as the parties from last week! Need to recover... First impression of the spot here in Italy isn't too good, it looks choppy and shitty...The town isn't so nice either, but yeah what can i do. In my first heat i was up against Rocky Chatwell from Texas, second heat was against Reno Romeu from Brazil, third heat was against my cousin Kevin Langeree from Holland, fourth heat was against teammate Youri Zoon and then in the final i got ass kicked by my mate Aaron Hadlow from the UK... The wind was pretty light and i was on my 11 at first, pretty powered, but towards the end i was underpowered on my 13... I'm super stoked with my second place, really didn't expect that...Didn't really have fun competing but i'll fing my way again, soon! RESULTS: 1: Aaron Hadlow 2: Me 3: Youri Zoon |
