There it was only me and 5 buddies, sitting in front of Scott's creek watching over-head waves peel
through 20-30 mph wind. Epic conditions to say the least. Overall the day had a spooky feel from
the start though. Usually, actually 98% of the time, we kite in sunny, not a cloud in the sky, conditions.
It usually never blows hard during low pressure systems. Today was different. It was raining,
cloudy, dark, ominous and gnarly. Big waves, COLD water, and gusty winds. But it ended up being a fun,

sick day. Our photographer ended up popping of nearly 400 photos in about 1 hour.
(Which I will post when I recieve and then I'll recite and full trip report) Said photographer
was scrolling through his shot's last nite and around midnight gives me a "Holy shit
you have to see this picture" type message. He wouldn't tell me why the need to see the picture
was so important, he wanted me to see it with my
own eyes. This is what I got....

Then lets zoom a little bit closer in and see what that little thing is behind me and in front of Peter, who happens to be looking the other way

See that, top middle? See that thing. Yeah that traingular shaped gray thing sticking up a foot to a foot and half out of the water...

So I ain't completely sure that is what I think it might be. But if that really was a shark. Well then, I'm glad I didn't fall. That's fucking gnarly.

Note: Take notice to the shape of the object. Dolphin fins are swept back in 1/4 moon type shape (plus the travel in packs and we would have seen at least one). Seal flippers are shaped like wings. Shark fins are traingular, and they don't move fast at all when on the surface so wake or drag lines aren't typically seen. I can't think it's much anything else besides the tip of a wee shark.
