SolarPatch, the next revolution ?

Manufacturer AHD has recently started distributing a repair kit that should change for the better the lives of kite and wind surfers the world over ! Explanation time…

The Solarpatch
The Solarpatch will change the lives of all kinds of surfers by allowing them to effect on location repairs that will be fast, efficient and highly durable. It holds on just about any surface (polyurethane excepted) and means you can be out riding again in minutes. What’s more, it’s non-irritant and ecologically sound (unlike much kitesurf equipment).
It comprises a repair system that is unique and now patented : it’s a fibre glass sheet impregnated with a resin that hardens under solar or artificial UV light. Fast and efficient, it allows you to carry out minor emergency repairs with either a temporary or permanent fix.
It’s easy to apply, there’s no mixing of glues and it dries very quickly.
