Spleene is druk bezig om de 2008 boardjes klaar te maken,
hier alvast een klein voor proefje.
Last Sunday I tested the new '08 RIP34 back to back against my '07 RIP34 in Tarifa (or better in Bolonia - close to Tarifa). The conditions had been gusty and very, very choppy.
I couldn't believe how much smoother the board cut through the choppy waves! It was way easier to control and I was able to ride it considerably faster than my old RIP34 (even my buddies at the beach could see the difference in speed)
Carved turns are a dream with the '08 RIP34! (unfortunately on Sunday there haven't been decent waves to have real benefit from this feature)
In Sept. I had the opportunity to test the new '08 RIP Plus, as well - same result: Easier to control in choppy conditions and turns better than the '07 version.

P.S.: I did not like the '07 Spleene pads & straps too much, that's why I replaced them on my '07 RIP34. With the new boards that's not gonna be necessary any more!
