Next February, the groups STANCE and FREERIDERS are going to join to give birth to a coproduction of images unprecedented.
Finished the small videos fo tricks which concern that a group restricts of passionate persons, it is time henceforth, to give to the world of Kite, true films with characters and stories...
As explains it Christopher Tasti, who will take charge of the 'stage setting' on this shooting; " I have it enough to see videos of glide which show only beautiful images of action, I am convinced that it is today possible to add to it a human dimension, by staging riders themselves so that they play, in front of cameras, their own role.
It is not necessary to fetch the inspiration very far, my purpose is not to try to include artificially in the middle of magnificent images of Kite, a weird intrigue to be slept outside and whose utility we would not understand, while it is sometimes enough to lean simply on the personality, the way of life or the way of being of some riders, to pull something which in the image, will doubtless seduce the spectator... "
The shooting of the film is thus foreseen over 3 weeks in the course of February, and will take place mainly in the region of Cabarete in Dominican Republic, because of the present exceptional climatic conditions during this period of the year.
The team of production is set up, and the casting ' riders ' is always in progress.
