Conclusion: other then expected it’s absolutely not the follow up of the MastAir. The MastAir is a low wind loving baby that makes you smile when all others are at the beach. The Psycho NEEDS wind. And loves it too! If you got enough of it, it’s a dream to fly and a joy to surf with. If you want to scramble you can, and if you want to cruise you can too. The largest surprise of the Psycho: depowerability and therefore the tremendous explosion of power if you do pull the bar. Largest disappointment of the Psycho 12.5: its sluggish reactions in lower winds.

Overall impression: with stability tweak applied it’s a stable kite, it’s powerful, it’s awesomely depowerable, it’s poppy, floaty and has tremendous lift, waterrelaunch is great, price not bad if you look at durability and quality of build.
