NO WIND!
Hey all,
I don"t know what"s going on here in OZZIE but the wind just will not come.
Every day the forecast says 20 knots or something near 20 knots and every day it isn"t the 20 knots they told before. Everyone knows that when kiters get bored they"re going to do weird stuff, so that"s just what"s happening right now. The groms (that"s what they call little kids) are playing around a bit and Benn got some problems with the organisation for doing crazy shit. Now they want to send him home but nobody agrees so it"s a bit of a big brother chaos at the moment. For me the perfect time to write a story. The last 2 days were supposed to be really windy, so everybody got up really early and checked out the beach sitting waiting and wishing. Unfortunatly without succes. Today I did some catamaran sailing. I never sailed on my own but this time they just gave me the boat and pushed me in and guess what? I survived the boat survived and I was cruising around the area. Good fun when you only have 8 knots of wind. Yesterday a woman got killed by a shark not too far away from here. That really reminds me to the fact that they"re in the water somewhere but you must have some real bad luck to get attacked.
I found a picture on the internet of me riding at a beautiful spot, unfortunatly it was clouded but it was still nice ride:)
I really hope for some more wind, and I hope all the shit about Benn will be fixed soon so the relaxed culture can go on for the rest of this beautiful experience.
