I've been in Brazil for two weeks now. I have been in quite a few places and done some cool things.
First of all I was at a Red Bull competition, Windows of Wind. It is a competition with speed and endurance combined, I came over finish line as first.
They took us to some unreal places, so beautiful…

After that I went to the PKRA tour stop in Piaui which is about a 6 hour drive North from Fortaleza.
The competition didn’t go well for me, I wasnt really motivated and focused for it. I think that's because I'm losing interest in the PKRA as the style of riding has changed a bit. I’m not saying it’s bad, but it’s definitely not the way I want to ride and make the sport look like.
And for sure I’m not changing my style of riding, I want to push it my way. So competition at the moment is not my thing…
I just take too much risk in my heats and crash too much while others play it more safe. But without going big and sick I don’t enjoy it as much.
I will train this winter hard in South Africa and show people what’s up with movies and demo’s.

Hope we can make the PKRA better next year and have all people on the same line of what quality kiteboarding is all about.

For me it’s just hard to explain what is going on, but I hope you understand and I will be working on it.
