Youri werd net in Nieuw Caledonie voor de 2de keer wereldkampioen!!!!
GEFELICITEERD namens het hele Hanglos team!!!
Inside information: Nog nooit zo'n close heat gezien!
Youri moest 2x tegen Alex nadat Alex de singles had gewonnen.
De ultra finale heat won Youri met een puntenverschil van 0.2!!!!!!
Youri over de winst:
The day was the most important of the year for both of us, and it came down to the last heat. When i was riding, I knew I had some tricks with more power but I saw Alex trowing down some technical stuff. In the last minute I had a feeling my hart was coming out of my body hahah.
The stress before the podium was pretty high, couldn't stand still for a second. In the end they anouched my name and the diffrence of 0,2 which is crazy!
It has been an amazing year wth a massive battle between me and Alex! To ride against Alex is quite something , he is a very skilled rider that rides solid in every single condition!
I just won the 2012 tittle but I am already thinking about 2013 again!
