Best Kite Spot, Sea Lagoon and Wave
Paracuru has 12 beaches spread over a coastline of about 20 kilometers.
Praia da Barra: beautiful white beach, remote and deserted, good for swimming
Praia Carnaubinha (Hawai Zinho): small beach, only 200 meters excellent for surfing waves.
Pedra do Meio: at the center, high waves, surfing is excellent, and a number of beach bars
Bica: at the center, a number of beach bars, fishing location

Climate.
Year round it is a tropical climate, temperatures between 25 and 32 degrees. And of course, always a refreshing breeze. Thedry season is between May and December, the chance of rain is the largest from February to May.
About 5 km from the center of `Paracuru, easily accessible via a paved road that goes through the dunes. You can get there by taxi, motorcycle or buggy. At the spot is a restaurant, showers and an area where the kite can be cleaned. There are cabinets that can be rented to store your kite material. There are a number of kite shops, can be rented equipment and lessons can be followed.
Through the reef at low tide creates a lagoon, little or no waves, perfect for beginners and intermediate skiers. At high tide big waves. And of course a breeze ranging from 15 to 30 knots, depending on the time of year.
There is the option to make a downwind from Taiba to Paracuru, accompanied by a buggy driver. The distance is about 45km.
There are transfer possibilities from Fortaleza to Paracuru. You can be picked up at the airport or at the hotel. Fretcar has a daily bus service from the bus station in Fortaleza Paracuru. In the village can be used a motorcycle taxi or taxi.
There is also the possibility to rent a car, motorcycle or buggy.

The best period is from July to January, up to 30 knots, then toned it down to 15knots or less.

Paracuru has hotels and pousadas for every budget, ranging from a simple guesthouse up to a luxery beach hotel.
Algemeen Paracuru:
Prachtige witte stranden, palmbomen en altijd zon, een klein paradijs wat nog niet overstroomd is met toeristen, ongeveer 80km van Fortaleza. Zeer goed te bereiken via de pas aangelegde dubbele snelweg, per auto, van of bus. In het dorp zijn een tweetal banken, Banco do Brasil en Bradesco, waar geld gepint kan worden, er zijn een aantal supermartkets, drogisterij en een ziekenhuis. En natuurlijk Kite-repair, huur en onderdelen.
Rond het kerkplein zijn een tiental restaurants met een goede menukaart, varierend van pizza tot vis. Verder zijn er natuurlijk de braziaanse snackbars, sate van de gril of hamburger. In de weekeinden is er vaak live-music of een show.
Wat is er verder te doen?
Rondrit met de buggy, via strand en duinen. Behalve kitesurfen is het ook mogelijk om te surfen of Sup. En natuurlijk aan het eind van de dag een spectaculaire zonsondergang.
Paracuru heeft 12 stranden, verdeeld over een kustlijn van ongeveer 20 kilometer:
Praia da Barra: prachtig wit strand, afgelegen en verlaten, goed om te zwemmen
Praia Carnaubinha (Hawaizinho): een kein strand, slechts 200 meter, uitstekend om te surfen, hoge golven.
Pedra do Meio: bij het centrum, hoge golven, uitstekend voor te surfen, en zijn een aantal strandbars
Bica:bij het centrum, een aantal strandbars, visserslocatie
Praia da Munguba:centrum, een aantal strandbars, vooral in de weekeinden heel druk met toeristen niet geschikt voor surf
Ronco do Mar: centrum, hoge golven, populaire surflocatie
Boca do Poço: centrum,,populaire surflocatie
Pedra Rachada: ongeveer 3 km vanaf het centrum, er is een strandrestaurant, prachtige witte stranden
Praia Quebra Mar (Pau Enfincado): Dit is de kite-locatie, ongeveer 5 km vanaf het centrum
Praia do Buraco: de windsurf locatie, 2 km vanaf het centrum
Praia do Vapor: afgelegen en verlaten strand
Praia da Piriquara: ongeveer 7 km vanaf het centrum, hier komen de zeeschilpadden de eieren leggen.
Kitespot Quebra Mar
Door het rif ontstaat er bij laagwater een soort baai, weinig of geen golven, ideaal voor beginners of minder gevorderden. Bij hoogwater flinke golven. En natuurlijk een briesje varierend van 15 tot 30 knots, afhankelijk van de tijd van het jaar.
Verder is er de mogelijk om een downwind te maken vanaf Taiba naar Paracuru, onder begeleiding van een buggy met chauffeur. De afstand is ongeveer 45km.
In de omgeving van Paracuru liggen de dorpen Taiba en Lagoinha, locaties om te kiten.
Er zijn transfer mogelijkeheden vanaf Fortaleza naar Paracuru. Je kunt opgehaald worden bij het vliegveld of bij het hotel. Fretcar heeft een dagelijkse busverbinding vanaf het busstation in Fortaleza naar Paracuru. In het dorp kan er gebruik gemaakt worden van motortaxi of taxi.
De beste periode is van juli tot januari, tot 30 knots, daarna zwakt het af naar 15knots of minder.
Paracuru heeft hotels en pousadas voor elk budget, varierend van een luxe strandhotel tot eenvoudige bed&breakfast.
