its a well known european spot to italians and germans almost everyone from eastern europe and ofcourse greeks. the vibe is very good on the beach and people are realy friendly and there is plenty of space for launching and landing kites. the water conditions are choppy waters but there is a secter spot somewhere near with more flat water. ask the locals.
thermal winds (wsw) blow during the summer with good stats about 40% and an average of 18/20knots on these days. there are also cafes, stores and schools with equipment and instructors near by the beach. the town of lefkas has lots of rooms/hotels for accomodation and of course exceptional cousine. the island of lefkas can be reached by road through a bridge so no need for boats/ferries and extra costs.its almost attached to the mainland greece.
