Good review, thanks.

One thing I don't understand: why the closed boots? It is harder to get the right size (toes hurting) and it is also harder to loose water.

Any mounting tools for 6.5" ?

It's not far from Penthievre in Bretagne, a bit further West. We're sorry we couldn't do action shots ( nobody there to take photos or filming )

Closed toe cause Ronix high end boots are CT . We didn't feel water inside the boots ( drainage is very good ). We also felt a bit more leverage with CT. We liked the looks of CT too ( geek inside Smiley ). The Franks were the right size, so no pb with toes hurting. We also had demo Reliks, but didn't go out because too small, and it would have crushed the toes...

We didn't ask, but I think there's no adapter tool for 6,5" insert spacing. The chassis is 6", very close to 6,5", so I don't know how we could add some metal adapter.

It's a bad issue this year with LF boards and its unique 6,5" spacing. 2010 boots cannot go on 2009 LF boards Smiley

Would certainly mount a pair of those on my board!

What is the standard retail prize for these babies?

Look like good boots - questions:

- availible in open toe (closed toe i agree with Ed - also at hard landings - sucks)
- different groundplates for the insert picture (won´t buy a new board just to mount the bindings)
- how is the stiffness in the heel part?

these babies are 399 $ ( max price ). Dunno how much it is everywhere in europe, but you should find them around 375 euros, depending on the shop... then the "Kais" are about 50 euro less ( very good, but no heat mould liner )

If you don't want closed toe, there's an open toe "Kai" version ( about 300 euros )

you cannot change the groundplates. 6" ( 15,4 cm) standard insert spacing. or you need to find adapters for 8" ( 20,3 cm ). adapters were not stock with the bindings I got. but it's better to have the right spacing with these kind of boots chassis.

stiffness in the heel part ? I didn't think about that... didn't feel it too much. I felt the heel had super good support, the curve behind the heel is very well shaped and follows the heel curve. your heel is very well stuck in there, and yes, it's a bit stiffer there. all in all, the boot is pretty flexy.
