After a year of absence, Red Bull King of the Air returned to Ho´okipa Beach on Maui´s north shore with the world´s best kiteboarders to battle Maui´s notoriously strong wind and waves for a piece of the $20,000 prize purse. The Rhino2 once again ruled in the hangtime competition. For North Kiteboarding teamrider Jaime Herraiz the chronometre stoped after a long 7,15 seconds and took him to the lead. MEN´S BIG AIR RESULTS 1st PLACE - Jaime Herraiz - 7.15 seconds 2nd PLACE - Marcus "Flash" Austin - 7.05 seconds 3rd PLACE - Chris Gilbert - 6.97 seconds Mark Shinn upset 2000 Red Bull King of the Air champion Marcus "Flash" Austin (Maui, Hawaii) in the men´s freestyle final event. Jaime finished on an excellent 4th place
