PSYCHO Rocks The Pacific !
MARIANAS OPEN 2003 - International Kitesurf Competition : Stephan Kleinlein wins the freestyle event on PSYCHO 15.5.
Light winds (8-15 knots) gave finalists pro rider Graham Boltz (Oahu/Hawaii) and Marianas top rider Jeffro Elliot a hard time staying upwind and getting enough airtime to perform their regular repertoire of tricks. Kleinlein who worked his way through the competition by showing great control and style in standard moves pulled out his joker for the final : his PSYCHO 15.5 allowed him to stay upwind in these light conditions and get enough airtime to perform smooth transitions and land his jumps 100%.
