The qualifying rounds for the Red Bull King of the Air contest, which we told you about a little while ago, are getting beginning to fizz a little all round the world !!! Between the 9th and 11th April a number of riders made the rip to Dubai to try and grab a qualifying spot.
Some of the established Frenchies made it over, Bruno Sroka, Arnaud Murcia and Cedric le Bourgocq among them, likewise American rider Fadi Issa!
And worth noting the presence of at least one genuine local rider, Sheik Ahmed Al Nayhan (see photo), absolutely overjoyed to see a kitesurf contest going off in his country !!!
