Chiemsee becomes official supplier of Kitesurf World Cup

Boardsports brand CHIEMSEE agreed to a cooperation with the PKRA (Professional Kite Riders Association) and has become the official supplier of the worldwide PKRA Kite Tour, the kitesurfers World Cup. The PKRA is an association of kitesurf pros with the goal to foster and promote the considerably new sport all over the world.
As World Cup the tour is the most important event series in the world.
It will be staged for the second time, beginning April 25th, 2003, at the Neusiedler See in Austria, and comprises six events. Dietmar Damith, executive manager, marketing, and licensing, commented: Everything in the history and future of CHIEMSEE revolves around boards. That means we simply had to get involved in kiting. Young, dynamic, and with a positive outlook on life - that suits our brand. That is the reason why we supply the entire PKRA Tour.
