I was just carrying out my lunchtime debrief / lesson plan for the afternoon with two of my students, as I saw a 7m ish pink and orange AR 3.5 Naish on 2 lines, heading down the side of the wind window, over the sea wall, and onto the road. The person flying the kite was only about 10m away from the sea wall as the kite started to go out of control. Clearly no safety buffer zone, and no excuse since the tide was so low. Said person ended up on the sea wall, the kite crashed onto the road, causing mayhem in the busy bank holiday traffic. At least one car suffered damage in emergency avoiding action. The person flying the kite was luckily unhurt, however the motorists were quite rightly angered up, and bundled matey off to the police station with his kite.
