Greatest accomplishments as a competitor? Becoming the first female instructor examiner for kiteboarding in the USA as a means of increasing the number of women participants in the sport. By doing so, choosing to sacrifice the time and resources necessary for a successful competitive career.
What has she done for her community: 1999 developed a women-specific kiteboarding clinic that has evolved into a national tour of women-specific kiteboarding clinics for the past 2 years. She has offered clinics either for free or a charge at a very reasonable fee!
