I saw this simple, easy-to-make and cheap system at the Northsea Open. I was talking to Jose Luis Ciriraco when I saw the small straps on his bar. Good idea to fixate the chickenloop so it can not fall out of your hook. Doing my first jumps I sometimes had the problem that my kite falls a few moments when I land and didn't steer my kite back. From time to time the chickenloop falls out of my harnesshook, giving my the full power of the kite and testing the kiteleash system a little later. ;-) With these straps (better use some harder ones, but I didn't have them at home) the chickenloop stays in my hook. I know snap shackles exist, but I ride unhooked from time to time in light winds, it's not very hard to get the loop out of the hook. Later, when I'll be some kind of a bodybuilder type, I'll be able to do handlepasses without a lot of problems with this system! ;-) Thanks to Jose! No patent pending, as far as I know.
