BWS designer Dano See says, “Working on this level with our consumers has been awesome for fine tuning our products. No matter how dialed you think you have things, it is always great to get some feedback from the people who will be buying our products, so far they have helped us make some small changes that is going to make our products even better”.
Here’s what some of the test team had to say -
“Loving the kite, it’s insane, a couple of minor tweaks and this thing is a game changer, best kite I have ever used!!” Pro surfer – Matt Keenan
“I Got my 6m last Friday and took it out on the Swan River Saturday and done a down-winder on Sunday. So easy to use, felt great from the beginning, plenty of grunt & mobility in the air and it re-launched easy. Didn’t take long to get used to the shorter bar (than I’m used to) and it sat in the air above me with no dramas….. Only issue I had, was using the de-power cleat once it was up, but that’s easy to work around.” Col Werner
“I got my 12m, the first day the weather was only 10knots with a moderate swell. I am 90kilos and on a 6’5 single fin surfboard and it performed unbelievable. It is smooth and predictable without being too whippy. I stayed upwind even though it was super light and found that it was very forgiving whilst I was on a wave and seemed to just want to follow me and with a quick pull in of the bar, the power would come straight back on. It was super smooth when down looping without bursts of power. My missus reckons it looks awesome in the air too. Awesome kite, now for the real test of build quality. If it last more than six months in my hands it deserves a 5star rating. I am re-nouned locally for destroying kites within weeks. Ha. I do have a good feeling that this one will stand the magilla test of time.” Mark Gavin
“Hey guys and girls! The Gold Coast finally turned it on. Sorry no video, got so excited that it was windy I forgot the camera. Anyway great session on the 10m, crap surf but the best session I’ve had since Indo, park and ride baby! All the other dudes were out on 12′s (Rally, Switchblade and Naish sigma stuff…) and were walking, Ha Ha… I reckon I could of had the 8m up, think the 10m is my new 12.” Graig Sweetman
