Here we are with the last epuisode for now of On The Loose.
This time I wanted to try a move I’ve been dreaming of for a year now.
It’s a Mega Loop where halfway I pull it back the other way. The S-Loop.
The first day we got there the wind was pretty full on and I was getting quite comfortable. It was still gusty and the waves not as big as I hoped for.
But I was on my 5m Fuel and warming up, the camera guys where still setting up and getting things ready.
The forecast looked good but didn’t work out too good in the end. The wind and waves became less. Although Bjorn Dunckerbeck, our good friend and Red Bull team colleague showed us the best spots to ride at, so that was cool.
We also did a heli shoot, but that didn’t work out too well. The spot was close to the airport and the heli couldn’t come close enough!
I think Cape Town is the place to nail this move. Or Holland during a big fat storm.
Bring it on!!
It was a fun trip, Aaron’s kite blew away two times which I quite enjoyed. Hahaha he was running fast. ☺
Azza busted out some nice moves but Gran Canaria can’t top the Cape Town conditions. So we’ll do the bigger shit there in February. ☺
Gianni Aragno, our good friend from Spain came bye to hang out for a few days.
We went go-karting and we got to DJ in Pacha Club Gran Canaria.
That was an amzing experience. Will drop footage of that later on in a highlight.
Stay tuned…
Peace and ride hard!
