Take 50+ of the worlds best riders, add a kicker, a slider, consistant wind, a crowd going wild, cameras galore and there you have the Velocity Games! As a competition format what these guys are doing is really innovative and pushing the sport in an awesome direction. By adding these props and really pushing unhooked moves like handle passes, kiting is beginning to relate more to her sister sport wakeboarding, which I think is AWESOME! Between that and the wave riding events like Waddell we are really onto something here, and our sport is set to explode into the mainstream this summer.
