oud news ofcourse....dat Tuva Het women record op 33 knopen heeft gezet....maar hier haar eigen story :)
On the way to a record…
"During the first day of the International Kite Speed, the wind was really strong and I had my Wook 6.0. The stretch of water wasn’t really flat and it was very difficult to go fast and keep control of the board at the same time.
What was easy that day was to hurt yourself! After a few runs I had a bit more confidence and things started going much better. All through the competition I was using 19 metre flying lines, it worked very well, it’s a good compromise between control through the gusts and speed.
The Friday after that the wind was almost the same but this time I went on the water with my 7.5 Wook. I had more power and I realised straight away I was going much faster!!!
That was also helped by the water conditions, completely different to what we’d had a few days previously!!! You feel much more confident when there aren’t all those little waves to flip you out. I used my custom twin tip, which is very similar to the Interstate series. My equipment wasn’t really specially designed for going fast but that’s what happened!"
