Archived data are only available for spots on the main list (not for custom spots) and they are available since 16.3.2003 (except spots which were added later to the list...)
Data are not real measured values at the location! It is still only the forecasts produced by the model. Every model cycle (every 6 hours) the archive is filled with 00h and 03h forecast values in order to be as close to reality as possible, in case some cycle is missing previous cycle is used with 06h and 09h etc... but this is very rare.
If you check "use modified wind" than modified wind is displayed (see Help/FAQ for more) instead of model wind, but this is only if it is available. Wind direction is only displayed if the wind is stronger than 7 knots in order to make it more transparent.

heel nuttig om te zien of je vakantiespot als ide erop staat wel goed is :)
