After Jesse Richman changed to Naish, Cabrinha has got a new rider. Reo Stevens!
Cabrinha is pleased to announce the addition of Reo Stevens to our international team. Born and raised on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii, Reo brings with him a wealth of talent and experience in wind and waves which puts him in line with Cabrinha’s diversely talented international team.
Stevens says “I’m absolutely stoked to be brought on board with the Cabrinha team! I’ve always admired Cabrinha’s forward thinking and openness to new, innovating ideas. To be involved with such a rider driven company has really fueled my motivation in helping to create the highest standard of wave specific products as well as pushing the limits of wave riding with a kite.”
With Reo only a puddle jump away from Cabrinha’s Maui operation, he will be heavily involved with testing and development. Stevens says, “I plan on pushing the limits of what can be done with a kite in the surf. The kite offers so many possibilities in areas that traditional wave riding is limited. Big waves, Slabs, heavy current spots are all areas that I want to explore. All while still having fun just catching whatever wave I come across.”
Watch for updates as Stevens brings us news from his travels and his back door on the North
Shore of Oahu.
