Legendary windsurfer Bjorn Dunkerbeck has been on the starting blocks in Arinaga, Gran Canaria, since July 4th for his (private) attempt on the speed record.
Robby Naish meanwhile was busy at the international dealer meeting in Hawaii but was due to join Bjorn for the attempt between now and the end of the month. Having announced himself once again super motivated and committed to his windsurfing for this attempt in the specialist windsurf press, we couldn’t help ‘overhearing’ that Robby is actually planning a number of kitesurfing speed runs in the Canaries!!!
