Last weekend, the beaches of Attica got a taste of kiteboarding thanks to the MYCOSMOSview Girls Kiteboarding Weekend, organized by GWA, the Greek Wakeboard and Kite Surf Association.
The event was marked by the participation of Japanese kiteboarding champion and Cabrinha Team rider Tomoko Okazaki.
On Saturday 5th of July, the events took place in Karavi, Schinias, and on Sunday 6th, in Nissakia, Loutsa. The event was entirely dedicated to girls and Tomoko led the show. Ileana Lakafosi and Sandrine Roussou (GWA) were also in the water ripping. Girls had the opportunity to test their abilities in kiteboarding under the supervision of GWA/IKO qualified instructors. And through an SMS game, anyone could win free lessons and other gifts.
