We quite enjoy, here at Flysurf.com, showing you lot some of the other, non-kite related things which nonetheless have an element of free flight about them… This one, however, had our jaws down on the floor when we saw it… Thursday 31st July, Felix Baumgartner, the Austrian parachutist we’ve already shown you a video of (6 months ago, jumping from a hot air balloon using an LEI kite as a parachute before quick-releasing it and actioning a real parachute!) achieved a simply unbelievable feat, flying across the English Channel disguised as a veritable Missile Man!!! |
