On the 21st Jan 2004 the first week long Jinx Jam will start at kite beach Senegal (nr St Louis) this represents the first rider judged competition for those of a radical nature.

"Organised by Andy Preston from Stage Two kiteboarding, and Peter van den Bussche from Mellow kite distribution in Belgium, the weeklong Jam will be held on the mile wide river which is separated from the sea by a 200 foot wide sand spit, which is where the camp is situated.
It has been timed to coincide with the lowest tides, as the beach is mainly used by the camp as a road from St Louis, great for downwind sessions through the surf.
