They are taking it easy until the comp starts. But is was another day at the ‘office’ for us; the Blue Lagoon was our choice for a nice session. Warm water treated Chris, Anna and Stef. No one else around. We shot some amazing footage from the water. Then out of nothing World Champ Cindy Mosey came in the lagoon. She hooted for the amazing warm clear waters in the lagoon. She was training her handle pass. She will probably be the first female to stick it. Maybe even in this competition.
As everybody was lazy hanging around the organisers gave everyone tickets for the ‘extreme water park’ next to our resort. Radical freefall drops of 40 meters! This is different business than being dragged after an unlucky handle pass! Mauricio Toscano (head rep PKRA) got a bleeding knee. Here the real daredevils came out. Off course Vari and his crew were leading the pack.
It was a nice relaxing, fun day. From tomorrow the tension will build………
