We are proud to announce to you that Wind Venture, the most ambitious expedition of the year, has just been completed! Thirty-nine thousand
(39,000) kilometers of roads, sand, ditches and rough seas in order to determine the best spots to practice extreme sports in South America.

After eight whole months of photographing and filming our extreme adventures and kiteboarding along the coasts of Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, and Chile, we have completed the most radical extreme sport adventure ever endured, and in a timely manner.

We managed to participate in the Refeno international sailing regatta in a 47-foot Catamaran: from Recife to Fernando de Noronha with in a time of 36 hours, placing us a in a remarkable 5th position out of 105 boats.

Besides the usual complications and typical obstacles of an adventure like this, we managed to proceed with the expedition and succeed. We almost lost our trucks in a deep lagoon in the Lencois Maranhenses. . . observed how our truck almost sank in quick sand near Tatajuba. . . were stuck several times in fine-sand of the desolate dunes in the northeast of Brazil and Chile. . .
seriously damaged three cameras due to the harsh and extreme environmental conditions of the sand and water. . .and even though we sustained several kitesurfing injuries we completed the expedition within the predicted timeframe and with total success and elation.

Eight-teen thousand (18,000) thousand pictures, 12 hours of film, and suitcases full of experiences to be remembered for a lifetime in the purest sense of the meaning.

Currently we are preparing for our next challenge: crossing the Caribbean Sea, sailing from Venezuela to the USA with kitesurfing gear.
