Premetto that the impressions on the improvements it brings to you from the modification also remains always of the impressions and as such they are opinabili also why they can depend on the level of kiter... mine is not therefore high. Personally I use the Steering Enhancer (IF) on the Guerilla 15 (G15), but I presume that work still better on the G18. Also the G13 in situations of variable wind and much rafficato could trarne advantage. The idea is been born observing that with the setting normal pulling completely himself an extremity of the bar (use one 60 cm) the G turns particularly well. The improvement as well as has not had to the greater traction on back linens from the side of the tacking how much in the lightening of the tension on back linens of the opposite side. Mounting l’elastico like in the outline to side, the tension on back linens generated from the resistance of the same ones with the air turns out lightened. Moreover in conditions light and the holes of wind, when normally the G is little reactive, he is sufficient to remove the bar why kite thanks to elastic the steps abruptly on the front ones with great benefit for the control. It is once capitato to me to raise the G with a connected elastic solo. I assure to you that it turned very better from the side where not c’era l’elastico that dall’altro. After all l’elastico servants to diminish the tension on back linens from the opposite side to the tacking. The modification is simple and fast to realize. Only some notes. The two elastic ones that I use are of the diameter of 1.5 milimeter for one length of 1.30 m. Consiglio to try smaller lengths also in function of the type of elastic. It would be possible to directly mount the elastichi on the lines, but to my warning it is better to use two fragments in dyneema so that the modification can be applied and be removed without too many problems. ![]() Reassuming benefits it finds to you after the modification are: 1. Immediate recovery of the traction also with least wind in whichever position in the window. 2, Thanks to the dell’attrito compensation of the wind on back linens, the kite ones absorbs still better the squalls in position of max depower; consequently also the high limit of the range turns out improved; 3, Possibility to play also with 2-3 nodes. The G also with little nodes becomes a lot piu’ efficient, it turns well and it does not go in stall. 4, Extreme resistance to the luff. Moreover if held to zenith in full load depower the G it floats in nearly wind absence! |
