From 12th to 15th March, Flexifoil Test Zone was in Barcelona, Spain!!!

"The final off our campaign in Spain was organised in Barcelona, we selected the beach of Castelldefels what is about 15 km on the south of Barcelona.
The nautical club is the base of the Kite school Garbi, in this Flexifoil kite school you can also try out the complete Flexifoil range during the whole year.
Richard Boudia has joined up the team to be ready for the French events. Tuned with all the tools to have a splendid event, the conditions are against us. On Friday and Saturday we get a container of rain over our head and wind wasn’t present neither. Also the recent attack brought Spain in a shock. On Sunday we got back the Spanish sun and some wind, just enough to put up the Blade and Bullet. Buggying and land boarding are impossible on this beach there the sand is too soft.
Nevertheless the locals caught an idea on the sport on a landing zone for choppers. On Monday wind was back on the menu, Richard Boudia tries to continue his winter training in the light offshore wind, but it turns out to be too gusty.
Locals Jaime and Cesar Portas decide to move 30 km more to the south. Richard joins the gang and there out for a super session."

Airport: 10 km from the centre of Barcelona and Castelldefels.
Wind: Garbi; Thermique wind which increases with a high pression zone. From February to June and from September up to November.
During the summer months it’s forbidden to practise kite surfing around Barcelona. Locals usual move towards Delta de Ebro, witch is about 150 km to the south, were you can find an enormous possibility for all traction sports.
Other possibility’s are, 50 km to the north Malgrat de Mar, 150 km to the north the bay of Rosas spot Sant Pere Pescador. Barcelona is the Metropolis on the Spanish South Coast, and it recommended leaving the lines for one day on the control bar, and visit one day and night.
On the way to Montpellier we planned a stop in Leucate. Due to an overscheduled agenda we did not have the possibility to organise a test weekend over here, but do not worry we created a test center were you can go and try out the Flexifoil gear during the whole year.
