CABRINHA’S YOUNG GUNS CLEAR THE TABLE AT THE Ba Ba Ba BIG WIND 2004 ISLAMORADA INVITATIONAL!
Cabrinha riders Jon Modica and Dana Foht finish 1st & 3rd in OUTLAW division!
March 25-28, Islamorada, Florida- Big winds and young guns will surely mark the 2004 Islamorada Invitational as one of the greatest events in recent history. Wednesday started off with winds ranging from 25 with gusts to over 30 mph! Riders were scrambling to find smaller kites. As the day pressed on, spectators were treated to seeing the worlds top riders get pummeled on 7.5-10.0 meter kites.
Cabrinha riders stepped up to the plate with some of the biggest moves being thrown by Antoine Joubert, Cameron Dietrich, Jon Modica, Laura Myers, Eric Foht, Dana Foht, Cory Foht, Michele Glazman, and Sonja Fischli (borrowing Cab kites for the weekend due to an early equipment failure). Cabrinha’s top National rider, Damien Leroy was unable to compete due to a recent knee injury, but showed up to lend his advice and support to the team.
