Again as with the majority of comps you can guarantee a lack of wind and this was the case with Porthcawl, resulting in only the running of the Junior-Am's & Amateur comp's. The consensus of opinion was with so many great beaches in Wales... why Porthcawl.. ?
The Junior comp was a closely fought battle, with our own local up and coming rider Josh (Brunnotti & North) coming 2nd
Juniors Result:
1st Robin Snuggs
2nd Josh Treacher
3rd Leane Beachdale
3rd Lance Nunn
5th Rhys Lloyd
As for the Amateur comp, Lewis (Slingshot) was looking good in the heats, landing kite-loops and surfice handle-passes. But the lack of wind, resulted in him going home on Saturday prior to the comp and denying himself of a top three spot. In the end Kevin landed the top spot.

2nd Sam Kirby
3rd Bruce Gonlag
4th Paul Hier
No Pro comp was run.
