Weather and wind conditions:
Very sad weather today, a lot of rain (the tents flooded a couple of times during the day) or even worse absolutely no wind. In the morning it looked promising, the trees were moving a bit but once the grey clouds arrived the wind died totally and so did our hopes. Around 4 in the afternoon the rain stopped for an hour and it cleared up for a while, the wind even picked up, 12 to 14 knots.
Last night’s entertainment:
Most riders went with the bus to
(ruben, brouwer en nog een paar zijn door de politie afgevoert snachts omdat ze op trampolines aan het springen waren hehe)
Highlights of the day:
Robby and Katie Naish flew in from the
Cindy Mosey did her first ariel handle pass in a competition! For sure the other girls will follow soon doing all sorts of handle passes. Competition: Just before the race director wanted to call it a day, the wind picked up enough to do some heats, the girls were on first, 2 heats got done. Most of the girls were on 14 meter kites some girls were underpowered, others were ok. The wind was kind of light and the conditions weren’t really perfect but the forecast isn’t looking that great so the organization wanted to have the first round of the girls finished so we had some kind of a result!
