When standing at the South pole, all directions are North. The same as being at the North pole, all directions are South.

Actually,  where the magnetic "flow" comes to a point is quite large in size, you do not have to be standing directly on the point to get North on a compass. Plus, the Magnetic South pole is not restricted to one position only, it moves around a bit.
