The Easy Way Out Given a choice most people will generally choose the easiest option in a situation, however this doesn't always bring about the best result. Putting in the extra effort and working harder will consequently offer a far greater outcome - as has no doubt been proven time and again in the sport of kiteboarding. We need to make more of an effort if kiteboarding is going to have a mainstream appeal to recognise and reward those riders who don't just take the simple alternative. Faced with the challenge of emulating Lou's wake inspired riding, most kiters found an easier way by having their kites higher, giving them more time (and less consequences) to complete a handle pass. However, a KGB is a name for a wakeboarding manoeuvre, it definitely doesn't involve any floating down or dingling; these types of tricks that a tiny percentage of kiters are pulling are way more difficult and stylish and should always be given due credit if this sport is to develop properly.
